Rev. Aaron Hayworth and his wife, Maggie Ivancic, are from Morganton, NC, where they met in high school. Aaron came to pastoral ministry through a powerful experience in the United Methodist campus ministry during his undergraduate study. After discerning a passion for pastoral ministry and Christian discipleship, Aaron attended seminary where he studied Christian Education, led music in the seminary chapel, and participated in Covenant Discipleship groups. Aaron was called to the work of church planting through a conviction that holy friendship and evangelism are vital parts of the church's future. Aaron enjoys reading, podcasting, cooking, and spending time with his wife and their two cats (Sam and Frankie) and their dog (Ladybird).
A native of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Darrick King has been musically active in the church since a young age. He grew up in the Baptist church, but has served as music director and accompanist across various communities of faith. Darrick attended Winston-Salem State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Education. In 2015, he earned his Master of Arts in Choral Conducting from Mansfield University of Pennsylvania. Darrick has taught high school vocal music in Maryland and North Carolina. He is currently serving as Director of Choral Activities at Southeast Raleigh Magnet High School in Raleigh, NC. Darrick loves spending time with family and close friends.
